Run review & run detail

After each run, Tempovi can write a short Run Review that compares what was prescribed with what you actually did. It needs an AI key.

When a run finishes (within the last 18 hours), the review is created automatically. You get a notification, and a Run review card appears on the home screen with the verdict, for example On plan. The review has three parts:

  • Verdict vs plan — how the run matched the session: warm-up, drills, reps and cool-down.
  • What stood out — notable numbers, often compared with similar recent runs. This includes efficiency (speed per heartbeat, power-to-HR).
  • Next — what this means for the next sessions.

Before the review is written, the app may ask How did that run go? Anything you type there is taken into account. Tap Refresh to rewrite a review, Share to send it, or Discuss to ask the coach about it.

No review? Check that an AI key is set and working, then open the review screen and tap Analyse latest run.

Tap any run in the activity list on the home screen to open its detail screen.

  • Summary — distance, time, average pace, heart rate, power and calories.
  • Charts — heart rate, power and pace, shaded by segment (warm-up, reps, recoveries, cool-down, pauses).
  • Power stress — normalised power (NP), intensity factor (IF), variability index (VI) and training stress (TSS).
  • Running form (outdoor runs) — ground contact time, vertical oscillation, stride length and vertical ratio. For intervals, it also shows how each one changed from the first rep to the last.
  • HR recovery between reps, a segment table (distance, time, pace, cadence, power) and per-km splits.
  • Conditions & notes — add a note or the temperature. The AI coach uses these when it analyses the run.

Use the ‹ › arrows to move between runs on the same day.

Tap the run-type badge (✎) to label the run as Z2, Tempo, Threshold, Intervals, Long run or Recovery. This keeps statistics and the coach’s history accurate.

Optical heart rate sometimes drops out or locks onto your cadence. Tap the HR ok flag to switch it to HR unreliable. Tempovi then works out that run’s training load from power instead, so one bad reading doesn’t distort your fatigue. Runs with obviously poor heart-rate data are detected automatically and marked HR low-res.

Counted work time is how many minutes of the run count toward your weekly volume. It’s set automatically. If a run was recorded badly (for example you forgot to stop the workout), use − and + to correct it. Tap Use auto to go back to the automatic value.
